A Holiday Poem for You 12/22/21

ORNAMENTS

Ornaments, especially those on your Christmas tree,

So beautifully hung for family to see.

Each holds a memory locked deep in our hearts,

That brings family together whether near or apart.

Each one is handled with loving care,

Much like a jewel, one that's beyond compare.

Like the one made by hand for your Mother

Still here through the years and revered like no other.

Or the angel you swore looked like your baby boy,

And each time that you see it brings a tear of joy.

Of course, there's a Santa dressed in red, trimmed in white,

A reminder of what a happy childhood was like.

Are these some of the memories that you hold so dear,

That only an ornament can bring back so clear.

🎄lots of memories with the ornaments, especially the ones we remember making.
